The International Open Small Coed Level 6 division brings together elite athletes from around the world into compact, highly technical teams. With tight formations, explosive coed stunts, and zero room for error, this division consistently delivers some of the most exciting routines of the weekend. At Worlds 2025, three standout teams rose to the challenge and secured their place on the podium.
Here’s a full recap of the top three performances and what made each of them unforgettable.
🥇 Gold: The California All Stars – Cali Coed
The Journey:
Cali Coed out of San Marcos, California, has long been a staple in the Open Coed divisions—and at Worlds 2025, they reminded everyone why. They earned their full paid bid at American Grand Nationals in Las Vegas, where their blend of difficulty, pacing, and team chemistry stood out. At Finals, Cali Coed delivered a lights-out routine with sky-high partner stunts, fierce visuals, and their trademark West Coast swagger. A zero-deduction performance sealed the deal, earning them gold and the roar of a packed arena.
🥈 Silver: The Stingray Allstars – Cobalt
The Journey:
From Marietta, Georgia, Cobalt brought clean technique and calculated intensity all season long. They secured their full paid bid at CHEERSPORT Nationals in Atlanta, where their precision and choreography earned early-season momentum. At Worlds, they came out swinging—executing coed elements with poise and bringing a polished, confident routine to Finals. Though they narrowly missed gold, their silver finish proved that Cobalt is as sharp and dependable as their namesake color.
🥉 Bronze: Cheer Athletics – Swooshcats
The Journey:
Representing Plano, Texas, Swooshcats are a legacy name in the Open Small Coed scene. They punched their ticket to Worlds with a full paid bid from the NCA All-Star Nationals in Dallas, delivering a fan-favorite routine that was as dynamic as it was clean. Known for their elite partner stunts and tight formations, Swooshcats brought all of that and more to Finals—hitting strong and finishing on the podium with a well-earned bronze.
Final Thoughts
The International Open Small Coed Level 6 division continues to be one of the most technical and thrilling contests at Worlds. Cali Coed rose to the top with unmatched execution, while Cobalt and Swooshcats proved that consistency and control still win in this high-pressure field.
Congratulations to all three medalists for pushing the limits of what’s possible with a small but mighty team—and for making IOSC6 one of the most unforgettable divisions of Worlds 2025.
